Brewsters

834 11 Ave SW, Calgary, AB, Canada
This place has a great atmosphere. I've never seen so many televisions in one place at once. The Flames game was spectacular. The basement brewed house brew was worth a shot as well (delicious European like brew).

Canada Olympic Park

Canada Olympic Park

88 Canada Olympic Road SW
Majestically overlooking the city this athletic park hosted many events of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games. Now it serves as a sports recreational area all year round. Take the bobsleigh for a ride, have a lesson in skiing or ski-jumping if you dare, and check out the worlds largest halfpipe. The whole family can enjoy a great daytrip.

Ship Anchor Pub

Ship Anchor Pub

534 17 Avenue SW, Calgary, AB, Canada
Dark and packed with friendly drunks. I've never been turned down by the bartender here. These people have a lot of beer. You can play darts as long as you're hitting the dartboard. Have a bite to eat. Watch FOOTBALL on the tele. Check out the occasional live music. Generally a chill spot.
